PORTRAITS OF LIFE IN POETRY AND PROSE

Quite a lofty assumption, isn’t it?  Really, like all of us, I can only report on my perception of life.  My life, specifically.  Or my life as it intersects with the lives of others…and sometimes the deaths.

This communion of perception and reality as expressed by the biology around me, is my ecology.  How I came to be in this place, in this time surrounded by the diversity of life I experience, is my cosmology–my story of how and why I came to be here.

I will share what I experience with you, and I have a request of you.  For this to be a true ecology, it requires that we interact, that we allow ourselves to discover the edges and the heart of our lives as it is mirrored or mimicked in the lives of others.  A true ecology requires an understanding of why there is life in this place and what it needs as sustenance to survive and how our interdependence is essential.

Your comments and feedback become the meeting ground upon which we form community and in which we explore our ecology and cosmology.  Thank you for taking the time to consciously continue your life-journey with me!

    Hi Deb,

Oh my, it is so nice to be in contact with you again. Even though, at this point it’s through being “friends” on facebook. I have browsed through your webpage here and remember your deep thoughts and feelings from way back when you were still at Earth Voice. You were the first person, and Earth Voice was the first place that I became connected to back then. I had never experienced anyone like Deb Weaver and Earth Voice. So much has happened on my journey since then. I always have and always will reflect back to you and the going ons that me and my kids participated in there at Earth Voice. I must share that you and Earth Voice has had such a positive and major influence on who and where I am today. I cannot let another day pass without expressing to you of my deepest gratitude and appreciation for being there. It was a very trying time in my life and the support from you and the people of Earth Voice was a huge lifeline for me. So, with a very appreciative and grateful heart, I say, Thank you, Thank you.

I am still close, though I have moved from Lake Villa to Fox Lake. Are you still in Volo? I’m not really sure what town it is but close to where Thanem lived. That is Volo, isn’t it?

It would be wonderful to see you again. If you would be willing, I’d love to arrange getting together in one way or another when you can find the time. My home number is: (847)973-1121 or my cell is (847)208-7966. I’d love to hear from you when you have the time.

    Blessings, Tammie

Responding to your request for a sentence, etc.
Obviously I think too hard for the “right” words to send you from me. If I wait for the right words I will never respond to you and I want to support your work. So—–

    silence is God’s first language
